System Software Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a System Software Engineer to join an exciting scale-up and help protect critical national infrastructure and complex technologies against the threat of post quantum decryption. This role will entail designing and developing software components for next generation systems in the PQD space in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibilities The System Software Engineer will design and develop system software for RISC-V based systems, maintain software stacks (incl. OS, firmware, drivers), participate in the designs and architectural review processes for both hardware and software while enhancing and maintaining processes, tools and methodologies to ensure the timely delivery of high quality code. Skills Sought Linux / Linux Kernel Development C/C++/Rust RISC-V Experience working on complex software Product development Embedded software and real-time solutions Security Clearance Eligibility for UK Security Clearance will be required for this role.
