System Safety Engineer (Civil Aerospace)Yeovil OR Bristol12-Month ContractPaying up to 72p/h DOE - (Inside IR35) Key Responsibilities:Tagging of airplane-level, system-level, and item-level safety requirements sets to show aircraft development assurance process meets the objectives of ARP4754A and support compliance with DO178B/C and DO-254Conduct system-level verification and validation tasks for aircraft safety-related requirements that align to System Safety Assessments (SSAs).Develop and/or review safety analysis such as Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Common Mode Analysis to establish verification arguments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to manage safety throughout the product and service lifecycle.
