System Engineer MES

We are looking for a Systems Engineer MES to work for a large-scale battery manufacturer, supporting the digital systems that drive its production operations. Working across engineering, automation and IT teams, you will configure and integrate MES solutions that connect production lines, quality systems and enterprise applications, helping to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and maintain compliance with industry standards.
 
The Systems Engineer MES will be responsible for:

• Configuring Dassault DELMIA Apriso MES for battery manufacturing, warehouse and quality workflows.
• Contributing to MES solution design, development, implementation, support and maintenance, translating business requirements into MOM capabilities.
• Integrating MES with OT systems (SCADA, WCS, automation, IoT) and IT systems (ERP, PLM, LIMS, QMS, WMS) for real-time data flow.
• Ensuring MES projects are delivered on time and in line with key milestones.
• Troubleshooting MES issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining functional and technical design documentation, including data workflows between systems.
• Leading training sessions and workshops and supporting system users to ensure smooth operations.

 
The Systems Engineer MES will have:

• A Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 10+ years'' industry experience, ideally within battery gigafactories, semiconductor, pharma, life sciences or biotech.
• Proven experience configuring MES and integrating with ERP, PLM, WMS and OT systems.
• Strong proficiency in C# and SQL databases, with experience applying ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards.
• Project management experience in MES implementation and equipment interface commissioning.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills to align business and IT needs.
• The ability to work onsite in Sanand, Gujarat, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
