System Designer - Audio and Lighting

Key ResponsibilitiesSystems DesignEvaluate temporary event and live production requirements and develop appropriate audio and/or lighting system solutions.Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Managers, sales teams, venues and operational crews to understand project requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.Produce detailed drawings, schematics, layouts, renderings, access plans, bills of materials and scopes of work.Use Vectorworks, ConnectCAD and other technical design platforms to create accurate and professional documentation.Adapt designs to meet project budgets, available inventory, venue requirements and commercial considerations.Identify the appropriate labour skills and competencies required to deliver and operate each system.Maintain high standards of systems design, documentation, planning and equipment allocation.Audio SystemsFor audio projects, you will ideally have strong knowledge of end-to-end professional audio systems, including:PA and loudspeaker systemsDigital audio consolesRF and wireless systemsAudio networkingSignal distributionControl systemsCabling and infrastructureTemporary event audio deliverySystem optimisation and technical troubleshootingLighting SystemsFor lighting projects, you will ideally have strong knowledge of end-to-end professional lighting systems, including:Moving lights and conventional fixturesLED and modern lighting technologiesLighting control systemsDMX and networkingArt-Net and sACNSignal ..... full job details .....
