      <description>Location: Chester | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Contract | Systems Administrator / Patching Coordinator    Location:  Chester - 3 days per week   Contract:  12 months     Role Overview   We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator / Patching Coordinator to support the coordination and management of server patching and security remediation activity across a large technology environment.     This is not a hands-on technical Systems Administrator role. The successful candidate will have a good general understanding of Windows and Linux environments, combined with strong coordination, communication and organisational skills.     The role will involve working closely with technical teams, particularly Applied Information Technology (AIT), to understand patching and software deployment requirements, coordinate activity across servers, and ensure required fixes and packages are scheduled and delivered appropriately.      Key Responsibilities    Coordinate server patching activity across Windows and Linux environments.  Manage and schedule servers for patching and security remediation.
