Lead a small Syndicate Accounting team, owning all aspects of syndicate financial close, regulatory reporting, and control framework governance. This role combines technical accounting excellence with strategic leadership, working directly with the Syndicate CFO and senior stakeholders across a complex Lloyd''s operation.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for Syndicate, service company, and managing agency, ensuring accuracy and regulatory complianceManage general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and escalation of complex accounting issuesPartner with Syndicate CFO on financial performance and provide senior stakeholder management across functionsEnsure compliance with Lloyd''s, FCA/PRA, and Group reporting standards with audit coordinationOwn and develop the Syndicate Financial Control Framework including process documentation and risk matricesDrive continuous improvement in controls, governance, and process automation opportunitiesLead finance requirements through system enhancements and data transformation initiativesLead, mentor, and develop a teamRequirementsQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience in Lloyd''s marketDeep knowledge of Lloyd''s market including Xchanging, LCA processes, and regulatory ..... full job details .....
