This role supports mission-critical environments and requires strong expertise in Sybase ASE and Replication Server within fast-paced enterprise settings.Key Responsibilities:Administer, configure, and maintain Sybase ASE and Replication Server environmentsPerform upgrades, patching, migrations, and platform transitions (RHEL7/8 RHEL9)Monitor and optimise database performance, resolving bottlenecks, deadlocks, and query issuesManage backup, recovery, and high-availability/DR solutionsProvide L2/L3 production support and assist development teamsAutomate routine tasks and maintain robust documentation and compliance standardsParticipate in on-call support rotationRequired Skills:5+ years'' Sybase DBA experience (ASE and Replication Server)Strong SQL tuning and performance optimisation expertiseExperience supporting 24/7 production environmentsSolid Unix/Linux and scripting skillsStrong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skillsDesirable:Cloud exposure (Azure or AWS)Automation tools (Python, Ansible)Experience in large finan...</description>
