      <description>Location: Hove | Salary: &amp;pound;17/hour + hol pay | Type: Temporary | Our Hove based engineering client is looking for an experienced Switchgear Technician/Panel Wirer to work alongside Technicans, Testers and Engineers to ensure high and accurate standard of build and installation.      Key responsibilities and main tasks and activities :  	 Interpretation of schematic and general arrangement drawings. 	 Layout of panels 	 Panel assembly including, preparation of metalwork prior to assembly, cabling and small wiring. 	 Copper busbar fitting. 	 Panel installation on site. 	 Liaising with engineers     Skills and abilities:   Essential    	 Electrical and mechanical knowledge 	 Proven experience in a similar role 	 Ability to interpret schematic and general arrangement drawings   Teamwork and personal impact  	 Consult with the team and other experts as and when required. 	 Able to operate within a team, and individually. 	 Task focused. 	 Strong desire to achieve. 	 High attention to detail.    Working Days and Hours   Mon to Thur, 07:45 to 16:30 and Fri 07:45 to 12:15   Start and Duration    I mmediate start until the end of July 2026</description>
