Coordinate with purchase department and maintain up to date monthly prices from suppliers, sending enquiries to suppliers and follow up from quotes. BOM- establish and select component parts to fulfil the customer specification Drawing approvals to suppliers. Monitoring any material problems at suppliers and suggesting alternatives. Taking quality issue feedback to suppliers and finding solutions to avoid reoccurrence. Visiting supplier premises for process and inspection of goods if needed. Developing new suppliers for various products.
