If you''re an experienced professional driver looking for a role with more variety and independence, this could be the opportunity for you. This is a full-time temporary ongoing position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Working across Norwich, you''ll operate a compact road sweeper and play a key role in keeping the city''s streets clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike. Key Duties Drive and operate a compact mechanical sweeper. Clean streets and public areas to a high standard. Complete daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance. Dispose of collected waste safely. Complete simple paperwork and timesheets. Follow health and safety procedures at all times. Suitable backgrounds include road sweeping, waste collection, highways maintenance, plant, construction, tanker or tipper driving, HGV/LGV driving, and other vehicle or machinery operating roles. We also welcome candidates from backgrounds such as delivery, taxi, van or milk driving, forklift/MHE operation, or similar.
