This is a temporary position offering consistent hours and the opportunity to play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces.Working HoursYou will work Monday to Friday on a rota basis:7:00am - 3:30pm, or6:00am - 2:00pmKey ResponsibilitiesWorking independently or as part of a team within an allocated area, your duties will include:Removing litter and emptying litter bins as requiredCarrying out basic graffiti and fly-post removal, weed trimming, and general cleansing dutiesCleaning public toilets and car parks when necessaryUndertaking basic inspections of facilities and reporting any maintenance issuesIdentifying further work required for specialist teams (e.g. grounds maintenance, mechanical sweeping, tree work, large-scale graffiti removal, deep cleaning)Reporting issues affecting the appearance and safety of public spaces, including fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, damaged street furniture, stray dogs, or misuse of council landCompleting basic records such as time sheets, daily checks, and inspection logsFollowing all health and safety procedures and council policies at all timesWorking flexibly across shift patterns to meet service demandsUndertaking any other reasonable duties relevant to the roleRequirementsFull UK driving ..... full job details .....
