An opportunity has arisen for a Research Analyst to join MandG’s Sustainable Investment Research team. This role involves supporting thematic and stock level sustainability research to drive investment-ready analysis, including assisting private markets teams. The ideal candidate will possess existing research expertise and is expected to strengthen their analytical skills further. The role requires producing high-quality, investment-ready sustainability research across diverse investment classes, sectors, and thematic issues. Effective communication of research findings is crucial to integrate insights into investment decisions. The successful applicant will contribute to thematic research, identifying investment opportunities for companies instigating structural changes in the global economy. Additionally, the role involves collaborative engagements to enhance thematic research across the investment platform and managing detailed proprietary databases. Key aspects include monitoring trends and innovations within various themes to ensure investment strategies remain aligned. Publishing thought leadership content and participating in the Stewardship and Sustainability agenda are also essential components of this position.Responsibilities
Produce high quality investment ready sustainability research on a range of investment classes.Effectively communicate research findings for integration into investment decision making.Contribute to thematic research, particularly identifying investment opportunities for innovative and disruptive companies.Collaborate on bottom-up research and analysis to enhance thematic engagement activities.Consolidate and expand detailed investment coverage with alternative datasets.Monitor trends in individual themes to ensure alignment with investment strategies.Publish thought leadership pieces and generate content through articles and white papers.Contribute to the completion of ESG Scorecards.Support the wider Stewardship and Sustainability agenda.Requirements
