Sustainability Manager Science and research laboratory project, Oxford We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sustainability Manager to join our team as the dedicated sustainability lead on a landmark science and research laboratory development in Oxford. Location: Oxford, project based, with occasional travel Job Purpose The Sustainability Manager is responsible for delivering the company''s sustainability and environmental ambitions on the project. You will make sure our Sustainable Engineering Excellence strategy (carbon, circularity and social impact) and the client''s sustainability requirements are put into practice, providing expert guidance to the project, design, commercial and operational teams. You will champion best practice in embodied carbon, circular economy, biodiversity and environmental assessment, ensure compliance with ISO 14001, and build sustainability capability across the project team and supply chain. What you''ll do Lead the project''s sustainability strategy through preconstruction and into construction, working closely with the client, design team and project leadership Own delivery of BREEAM UK New Construction (Excellent) with the BREEAM Assessor: protect and grow the credit margin, recover credits where possible, and make sure evidence is planned, captured and tracked from design to post-construction certification Lead whole life carbon on the project: develop the assessment to the RICS standard, set the ..... full job details .....
