Overview

Expana is a leading independent provider of global commodity prices, forecasts, and market intelligence for the food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and capital goods industries. We offer data and insights through cloud-based SaaS products, APIs, and Data Feeds. We are seeking a part-time Sustainability Manager (2 days per week) to lead the implementation of our Expana Good Business Framework in a collaborative, values-driven team.You will coordinate activity across departments, engage employees and leadership, track progress through structured reporting, and shape a key strategic initiative with autonomy.Responsibilities

Programme Management and Implementation: Lead the rollout of our ESG and sustainability framework, focusing on Our Planet and Our Communities, and supporting Our People; integrate sustainability goals into core business functions; manage select sustainability projects end-to-end (e.g., climate strategy and decarbonisation plan; establishing a global social impact charity partnership).Stakeholder Coordination and Engagement: Facilitate collaboration across Legal, HR, Communications, and Operations; coordinate the Good Business Management Committee and employee-led sustainability initiatives; develop internal champions to drive momentum; support creation of sustainability thought-leadership content for public and internal channels.ESG Awareness and Culture Building: Act as the internal sustainability advocate and subject-matter contact; plan awareness campaigns, training, and communications to engage employees; coordinate volunteering, charity partnerships, and wellbeing-related initiatives.Internal Reporting and Metrics: Develop internal reporting systems to track ESG/sustainability metrics; provide regular updates to senior management with insights and recommendations.Certification and External Recognition: Oversee submissions for ESG certification programmes (e.g., EcoVadis); gather and manage data from departments for external assessments and benchmarks.Qualifications

5+ years in programme/project management, with 3–4 years in sustainability, ESG, CSR, or responsible business programmes.Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills; comfortable working with senior stakeholders.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.Analytical mindset with data interpretation and insight-driven reporting.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Familiarity with sustainability certifications and ESG frameworks.Knowledge of the food and beverage sector is a plus, but not required.Self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about responsible business.Why Join Us
