Sustainability Manager

Role Overview We are seeking a Sustainability Advisor to join a major nuclear infrastructure project in Cumbria on a permanent basis. The role will support the delivery team in embedding sustainability, environmental responsibility and carbon reduction initiatives across all phases of the project, in line with nuclear regulatory expectations and client commitments. Working closely with project management, construction, design, supply chain and client stakeholders, you will ensure sustainability targets are translated into practical, site based actions while maintaining compliance within a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Support the development and delivery of the project Sustainability Strategy, Environmental Management Plans and Carbon Reduction Plans Provide practical sustainability and environmental advice to project and construction teams within a nuclear regulated environment Monitor and report performance against sustainability KPIs, ESG objectives and client requirements Drive initiatives relating to carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste minimisation, resource efficiency and responsible sourcing Support implementation of PAS 2080 principles and circular economy best practice where applicable Coordinate sustainability data collection, analysis and reporting for internal, client and regulatory submissions Engage with the supply chain to ensure sustainability and environmental requirements are understood and applied Support environmental ..... full job details .....
