Job Title: Sustainability Manager Salary: 65,000 + Package Location: Head Office, London Purpose of the Position: The Sustainability Manager will assist the Head of Sustainability in supporting the project teams to manage and achieve sustainability objectives throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves working with both internal and external teams to ensure the project meets its environmental commitments and regulatory requirements. Main Responsibilities: Project Support and Environmental Management Provide guidance on meeting and exceeding environmental goals, ensuring compliance with relevant contractual commitments, laws, and regulations across the design, procurement, and construction phases. Implement an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system and related software for environmental reporting. Preparation and Design Phase Develop and agree on the Environmental Sustainability Management Plan. Identify and implement project-specific environmental requirements such as BREEAM, WELL, LEED, and NABERS standards. Collaborate with the project team to devise strategies for carbon reduction, waste minimisation, noise control, and biodiversity protection. Set up environmental reporting tools (e.g., SmartWaste) and provide subcontractor training on sustainability requirements.
