The Opportunity

We''re working with a forward-thinking consultancy seeking a Sustainability Consultant & BREEAM Assessor to join their growing Energy & Sustainability team in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with MEP Engineers and Building Physics specialists, contributing to a wide variety of impactful, sustainability-led projects across multiple sectors.

What You''ll Be Doing
- Delivering environmental assessments and sustainability certifications (including BREEAM and HQM)
- Developing energy strategies, sustainability reports, and resource efficiency studies
- Working with clients and design teams to embed sustainability across project stages
- Managing project delivery, including tracking progress, budgets, and programme timelines
- Supporting wider sustainability services such as planning submissions, energy and water assessments
- Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and emerging best practice
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
- Contributing to whole life carbon and embodied carbon assessments when needed
What We''re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering BREEAM or similar sustainability certifications
- Qualified BREEAM Assessor (essential) - AP status advantageous
- Understanding of frameworks such as HQM, WELL, SKA, Fitwel, CEEQUAL, DREAM, etc.
- Strong awareness of net zero principles, LETI guidance, and UK regulations
- Experience across sustainability consultancy or project delivery environments
- Exposure to embodied carbon or LCA work (beneficial)
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Genuine passion for sustainability and improving building performance
