Surveyor/Estimator

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Estimator/Surveyor located in Woodford Green. The Estimator/Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and tenders, conducting site surveys, and agreeing variations and valuations with clients. The role involves reviewing specifications and drawings, use of measuring software, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring accurate cost analysis. This position requires regular visits to project sites and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost estimating, preparing budgets, and financial analysis
• Experience in conducting site surveys and gathering project data
• Ability to review and interpret specifications and drawings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor''s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
