A well-established heritage and specialist stonework contractor is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on prestigious heritage, restoration, and conservation projects, including listed buildings, historic landmarks, and high-end stonework installations.

The Role

You will play a key role in managing the commercial and surveying aspects of specialist stone and heritage construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and managing project cost plans and budgets
• Measurement and valuation of stonework and restoration packages
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
• Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
• Supporting project teams with commercial advice
• Liaising with clients, architects, and conservation specialists
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and programme

About You

• Experience as a Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor within construction
• Experience with stonework, restoration, heritage, or masonry projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of cost management and commercial processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Relevant construction qualification (or equivalent experience)
