This is an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor/Technical Officer/Repairs Officer with a strong background in social housing, carrying out pre and post-inspections, diagnosing building defects, and managing day-to-day repairs, including damp and mould cases. The organisation has a strong reputation for investing in neighbourhoods, promoting inclusion, and providing safe, well-maintained homes for its residents.DescriptionCarrying out pre and post-inspections on day-to-day responsive repairs.Inspecting and managing damp and mould cases, identifying causes and recommending appropriate remedial works.Diagnosing a wide range of building defects and repair issues.Producing clear specifications of work and monitoring quality through post-inspections.Liaising with tenants, contractors and internal teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and customer expectations are met.Strong understanding of social housing repairs, maintenance standards and contractor performance management.ProfileA strong background in social housing repairs and maintenance and extensive experience carrying out property inspections, diagnosing defects and ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.RICS desirable but not required!Job OfferDaily rate of £225 to £250 per day (umbrella ..... full job details .....
