Joshua Robert is pleased to be working with Ardent to recruit an experienced Surveyor to join its growing East of England team in Cambridge.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Ardent at an important stage of its regional growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex land acquisition and access matters across major infrastructure projects throughout the East of England.

You will work closely with landowners, clients and multidisciplinary project teams, taking ownership of cases and helping to drive projects forward.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering land access and acquisition casework across major infrastructure projects
• Managing landowner engagement and progressing cases through to resolution
• Working on access agreements and licences
• Managing wayleaves and easements
• Undertaking land referencing and title review
• Working alongside land, legal, engineering and consenting professionals
• Building strong relationships with landowners, clients and stakeholders
• Taking responsibility for key cases and ensuring effective case progression

About You
We are looking for a delivery-focused Surveyor with experience across land, property or infrastructure casework.

You will ideally have:

• Experience of access agreements and licences
• Working knowledge of wayleaves and easements
• Experience of land referencing and title review
• Strong stakeholder engagement and case management skills
• The ability to manage landowner relationships and drive cases forward
• Excellent organisation and resilience
• Experience within energy, utilities or linear infrastructure would be advantageous

Rural practitioners and candidates with transferable land experience from sectors such as telecoms are also encouraged to apply.
