This role would be suited for someone from a Trades background who wants to explore a Surveying opportunity. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Building surveys on Residential and commercial buildings Stock Condition, Defect Analysis and Damp Surveys Producing drawings using AutoCAD Prepare planning applications and schedules of work/specifications Ensure compliance to the Building Regulations as well as sustainable design and low carbon technlogy Assist in the diagnosis of defects and quality control on sites Ideal Candidates: Ssomeone who may have been a former tradesman that wants to get into surveying and may have completed a HNC or similar. Good technical knowledge that would be suitable for being trained as a Clerk of Works. Good at reading drawings, technical specifications, could also be from an M&E background etc. Ideally someone that has had some experience as a project surveyor, quality inspector etc. This could also be suited for surveyor that maybe working in Building Control or...
