Experienced Surveyor required to work with leading Housing Association on a permanent contract.
My client requires an experienced and professional Surveyor to join their specialist repairs team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of building and property maintenance.
You will support the effective delivery of contracted and internal maintenance services focused on all property issues, and investment decisions and providing technical building support prevention.
Main tasks:
Pre and post inspection surveys to diagnose potential or existing disrepair or damp and mould cases.
Produce details schedules of works using NHF Schedule of Rates for prevention and repairs
Ensure accurate record keeping and making sure all relevant certification is provided for all works
Support the damp and mould complaints caseload
Inspect the quality of work completed by partnering contractors, and review costs and performance, proactively identifying and taking appropriate steps to achieve improved performance
Responsible for the financial accounting functions for capital and service budgets including cash flow and financial forecasting on monthly basis including written variation reports
Details:
Salary: -43,248 per annum
Location: Gloucester
Hours: 37 per week / Hybrid Role
Requirements:
- Recognized building surveying qualification
- Full Membership of RICS or CIOB
- Strong level of technical expertise
- Full UK driving license
