Engineering Surveyor – RAF Base, Oxford | Long-Term Contract | Inside IR35

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project based on an RAF base in Oxford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term contract working on a high-profile defence project, offering consistent work and a competitive day rate.

The Role:

• Carrying out engineering and setting out surveys across a range of construction and infrastructure works.
• Producing accurate survey data and reports.
• Establishing and maintaining site control.
• Supporting project teams with as-built surveys and quality assurance.
• Operating and maintaining surveying equipment, including GPS and total stations.
• Ensuring all survey work is completed safely and to the required specifications.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an Engineering Surveyor on civil engineering or construction projects.
• Proficient in the use of GPS, total stations, and surveying software.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and setting out procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Security clearance is advantageous but not essential (subject to project requirements).
