Engineering Surveyor Heathrow Airport (Terminal 1 Demolition Project) Engineering Surveyor Heathrow Airport, London Tier 1 Main Contractor 6-Month Contract (Strong Likelihood of Extension) Competitive Day Rate An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a high-profile project at Heathrow Airport, supporting the demolition and redevelopment of the former Terminal 1 site. Working on one of the UK''s most significant infrastructure environments, you''ll play a key role in delivering accurate survey control, setting out, and as-built data across a complex demolition and enabling works programme. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain survey control networks. Carry out setting out and verification surveys. Produce accurate as-built surveys and records. Support demolition, enabling works, and civil engineering activities. Process and manage survey data using industry-standard software. Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors. Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and Heathrow standards. Requirements Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor on major infrastructure or construction projects. Proficient with Leica, Trimble, or Topcon survey equipment. Strong understanding of GNSS, Total Stations, and survey control. Experience producing topographical and as-built surveys. Ability to work within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
