Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Waltham Cross.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across London, Hertfordshire, and the surrounding regions. As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout London and the Home Counties.

Working independently with the support of an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

• Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248

• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling and producing accurate survey reports

• Producing accurate and compliant analytical reports

• Working across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties

• Managing your own diary and workload efficiently

• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)

• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation

• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable

• Full UK driving licence

• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
