Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join their team in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor Analyst looking to join a respected consultancy delivering high-quality asbestos services across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt. The successful candidate will undertake a varied mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties.
THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both asbestos surveying and analytical services across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, you will deliver accurate, professional services while ensuring full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and personal air monitoring in accordance with HSG248
Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types
Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector sites
Managing your own diary and workload effectively
Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures
WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR
BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst
Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
Experience within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
Full UK driving licence
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and manage a field-based workload
Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
