In this hands-on role, you will support the delivery of road surfacing and highway maintenance projects, working as part of a skilled crew to lay and finish asphalt safely and efficiently. This role involves working outdoors, travelling to sites, and operating as part of a team to ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety. Nightshift working is required.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the laying, raking, levelling, and finishing of asphalt materialsSupport the operation of surfacing plant, tools, and equipmentCarry out site preparation and general labouring duties before, during, and after surfacing worksWork closely with the Foreperson and wider surfacing squad to complete projects safely and efficientlyConduct routine checks and basic maintenance of plant, equipment, and PPEFollow site instructions, safe systems of work, and company procedures at all timesMaintain a clean and safe working environmentReport any safety concerns, ..... full job details .....
