Key responsibilities for Surface Treatment Technician: Preparing and operating chemical processing equipment and tanks. Cleaning, degreasing and etching metal components prior to treatment. Applying chemical conversion coatings, anodising, passivation and other surface treatments. Monitoring chemical bath concentrations, temperatures, pH levels and processing times. Recording process parameters and maintaining accurate production documentation. Inspecting treated components to ensure quality and compliance with engineering specifications.
