Senior Housing Support Officer £34,000Permanent 37 hrs pw HeckmondwikeHamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Senior Housing Support Officer to work within their hostel-based services for young people aged 16- 25 years.The role will require shift working either 8:30am- 4pm or 2pm-10pm across Monday - Friday. Some weekend working will be required.The successful postholder will be responsible for the supervision of a team of 5, comprised of Housing Support Officers and Night Support Workers.Responsibilities of the Senior Housing Support Officer:Delivering a high-quality support service to young people aged 16-25 years living within a hostel based settingManaging a small caseload of clientsSupervising a team of 5 staff membersEnsuring staff rotas are updated and covered in times of absenceMaintaining and monitoring policies and procedures within the teamSupporting colleagues within the team through training and coachingDeveloping and maintaining effective working relationships with external working partnersEssential Criteria of the Senior Housing Support Officer:Experience in supported housing or accommodation-based services.Experience working within a supervisory / team leader capacity within a similar environmentAbility to work flexibly across sites, including evenings and weekends.Benefits of the Senior Housing Support Officer:26 days annual leave (rising to 31 after 5 years service)Group pension ..... full job details .....
