Supported Housing OfficerBradford35 hours per weekPermanent 23,500 per annum Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a charity that is looking for a Supported Housing Officer to work with males fleeing domestic violence. Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Officer includes:Providing housing and tenancy related support to males fleeing domestic violencIdentifying their needs and agreeing a programme of support via floating support, telephone support or housing related support.Ensuring that the telephone helpline is staffed Referring men into the crash pad accommodation and to ensure that they get a high level of support in order for them to move on into more appropriate accommodation.Supporting men living wirhin dispersed units of longer term accommodationManaging referrals and conducting needs and risk assessmentsConducting health and safety checksCompleting inductionsEnsuring clients adhere to their tenancy agreementsFostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic supportAssisting with benefit applicationsEssential criteria of the Supported Housing Officer include:Enhanced DBS or willingess to undergo oneExperience with vulnerable clients within a housing support capacityUK driving license and access to own ..... full job details .....
