Supported Housing Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing supported housing organisation in Wiltshire that provides accommodation and support to ex-military veterans, helping to reduce homelessness and support residents as they transition back into civilian life.The organisation currently operates a 44-unit supported housing scheme and has ambitious plans to expand its services. They are now looking for an experienced Supported Housing Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the scheme and lead the on-site team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to join an organisation at an exciting stage of its development and play a key role in its continued growth.Key Responsibilities of a Supported Housing Manager:Take overall day-to-day responsibility for the 44-unit supported housing scheme.Manage and support the on-site team, including Housing Support Workers, administration staff and a caretaker.Provide effective leadership, guidance and supervision to the team.Oversee the delivery of supported housing and intensive housing management.Ensure effective processes are in place for resident sign-ups, move-ins, welfare checks, risk assessments and tenancy management.Oversee housing administration, records, compliance and case management.Ensure residents receive appropriate support with Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and wider welfare matters.Monitor rent, tenancy and housing management issues and ensure these are dealt with ..... full job details .....
