Supported Accommodation Manager

Job Title: Supported Accommodation Service Manager
Location: Cheltenham / Gloucester
Salary: -35,000 per annum + Excellent Company Benefits
Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for two experienced and dedicated Supported Accommodation Service Managers to lead services supporting young people aged 16-25, particularly those with experience of working with Care Leavers. This an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support that empowers young people to live independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services
• Lead and support a team, including conducting supervision and appraisals
• Liaise effectively with commissioning teams, brokerage services, and multiple local authorities
• Deliver a consistently high standard of person-centred care and support
• Oversee care planning, ensuring each young person has tailored, outcome-focused plans
• Complete and review risk assessments to promote safe environments
• Carry out cross-matching of referrals to ensure appropriate placements
• Monitor and manage service performance against KPIs
• Ensure safeguarding standards and regulatory compliance are maintained

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Team Manager or Service Manager within supported accommodation or a similar setting
• Strong understanding of the needs of young people aged 16-25
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation
• Experience working with local authorities, commissioning, and brokerage teams
• Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3/5 desirable)
