Support Worker/Senior Support Worker

We are looking for caring, resilient and committed Support Workers to join a dedicated team within a 3-bed children''s residential home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome challenges, develop their confidence and build positive futures. You will work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality care, guidance and encouragement, while creating a safe, stable and nurturing environment for the young people living in the home. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day care, support and supervision to children and young people. Build positive, trusting and professional relationships with young people. Support young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. Encourage positive behaviour and help young people develop appropriate coping strategies. Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and behaviour management strategies. Support young people with education, activities, appointments and social opportunities. Promote independence, life skills and personal development. Respond appropriately to challenging or distressed behaviour using agreed strategies. Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports and handovers. Work effectively as part of a team and communicate professionally with colleagues and other professionals.
