Help Young People Build Independent Futures Peabody is looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to support young people aged 16-25 to develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to live independently. Working with young people who may have experienced homelessness, social exclusion, mental health challenges, or other barriers, you''ll provide person-centred support that empowers them to achieve their goals and thrive within their communities. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred support to young people living in supported housing. Complete needs assessments, risk assessments, and support plans. Support residents with daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, and managing finances. Help young people build confidence, independence, and resilience. Support access to education, training, employment, and community services. Assist residents to sustain accommodation and explore future housing options. Work closely with external agencies and partner organisations. Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and support planning. Participate in team meetings and training.
