Support Worker

Location: Bolton
Salary: -26,682 - -27,129 per annum (-13.83 - -14.06 per hour)
Hours: 37 hours per week, rota basis

We are seeking caring, dedicated and passionate Support Workers to join our team supporting children and adults with disabilities in residential homes and supported living settings across Bolton.

This rewarding role involves supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, learning disabilities and complex health needs to live fulfilling lives, develop independence and achieve their personal goals.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will provide high-quality care and assistance to a small number of individuals, helping them with daily living activities, social engagement, personal development and community participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs
  • Promote independence, wellbeing and choice
  • Assist with daily living activities and personal care where required
  • Support individuals to access community activities and opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team

Hours of Work

  • 37 hours per week
  • Worked on a rota basis according to service needs
  • Includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • Occasional sleep-in duties, paid in addition to salary

Training & Development

Full training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and supported in your role. Mandatory induction training and regular refresher training are delivered during weekdays, with dates provided in advance.

Employees who do not already hold an equivalent qualification will be supported to achieve a relevant vocational qualification within two years of joining. The qualification is fully funded, and comprehensive support is provided throughout.
