Support Worker (Weekend)

Harrogate Homeless Project (HHP) is looking for two compassionate and motivated Weekend Support Workers to join our dedicated Client Services Team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity across the Harrogate district. We have two part-time positions available (14 hours per week): 7.30am to 2.30pm, Saturdays and Sundays 1.30pm to 8.00pm, Saturdays and Sundays Salary: £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour upon successful completion of probation. Additional hours may be available to cover annual leave, sickness and on-call duties. As a Support Worker, you will help create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for clients living within our hostel accommodation, Springboard services and flats. You will provide practical and emotional support, assist new residents with inductions, maintain accurate records, carry out health and safety checks, and work closely with colleagues, volunteers and partner agencies to help clients move towards greater independence.
