Support Worker

Vibe Care Agency are seeking experienced Support Workers to support Adults in supported living services in the Dorchester area. This is a flexible role (zero hours) to fit around any other commitments you have, working with a well established agency and service provider. This role is not suitable for anyone seeking sponsorship This role is supporting adults either living on their own or in shared accommodation within supported living services.Pay Rates 13.15 - 14.00 enhancement for BH working. Sleep-In rate 75.00Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex behaviours and complex health support are essential however additional training can be provided.Shifts vary depending on the individual services: example -08.00 - 20.0007.30-14.30 / 14.30-21.3020.00-08.00 / 22.00-07.00 (sleep in and waking night shifts)We are looking for:Experienced support workersKnowledge and understanding of learning disabilities, autism and complex needsExperience working in a similar role supporting adultsAbility to work as part of a team or on your ownAbility to promote individual choices, rights and dignityUnderstanding behaviours that challengeAble to follow individual care plans and risk assessments, promoting person centered supportSupport with daily activities e.g. community access, cooking, laundry, cleaning etc.Happy to support with person care if requiredEnhanced valid Child and Adult DBS on the update serviceAble to drive and have access to a vehicle - ..... full job details .....
