Job description At Turning Point, we support people with Learning Disabilities across England. As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference to residents'' lives as you improve their daily living skills. Passionate about people, you will enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life and career too, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress with us. Where will I be working? We are providing support for adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. 2 Sherwood is situated about 4 miles from Wakefield Centre, this takes around 20 minutes by bus. Sherwood is a purpose built 4 bedroom bungalow where we support 2 ladies and 1 gent. The clients are aged between 54yrs to 70yrs. All clients have mixed abilities and mobility issues, who all enjoy the local amenities of Wakefield but equally enjoy broadening their horizon further afield.
