We''re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, highly respected charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people to live independently and enjoy life.
This is a full time position but working hours to suit you!
This is more than a care role. It''s about building confidence, encouraging independence, and helping people do the things that matter most to them, whether that''s learning a new skill, meeting friends for coffee, trying a new hobby, or simply having someone in their corner.

What you''ll be doing
As a Support Worker, you''ll support people both in their own homes and out in the community, helping them live fulfilling, independent lives.
Every person is different, so every day looks a little different too. You might be:
- Supporting someone to access activities, clubs or social events
- Building genuine relationships and providing emotional support
- Helping with cooking and everyday household tasks
- Supporting with medication
- Assisting with budgeting and developing life skills
- Encouraging confidence, independence and personal goals
- Providing personal care where needed (only for a small number of people)
This role is centered around empowering people, not doing everything for them.
The shifts
- 37.5 hours-per week.
- Choose your own work hours-between 8:00am and 10:00pm (occasionally until 11:00pm)
- One weekend every other week
- Sleep-ins paid at--69.76 per shift (available but not compulsory)
- Overtime paid at--13.45
