We''re recruiting on behalf of a long-established, highly respected charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people to live independently and enjoy life. This is a full time position but working hours to suit you! This is more than a care role. It''s about building confidence, encouraging independence, and helping people do the things that matter most to them, whether that''s learning a new skill, meeting friends for coffee, trying a new hobby, or simply having someone in their corner. What you''ll be doing As a Support Worker, you''ll support people both in their own homes and out in the community, helping them live fulfilling, independent lives. Every person is different, so every day looks a little different too. You might be: Supporting someone to access activities, clubs or social events Building genuine relationships and providing emotional support Helping with cooking and everyday household tasks Supporting with medication Assisting with budgeting and developing life skills Encouraging confidence, independence and personal goals Providing personal care where needed (only for a small number of people) This role is centered around empowering people, not doing everything for them.
