Support Worker Location: GreenfordHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pmSalary: Competitive Daily Rate / Depending on Experience Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available Support Worker- Job Overview We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist SEN provision in Greenford, supporting children and young people aged 8-16 with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and helping them achieve positive educational, emotional and social outcomes within a structured, safe and nurturing environment. Support Worker-Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN including ASD, ADHD and autism. Support students with emotional regulation, communication and social interaction. Assist students both inside and outside of the classroom to encourage engagement and participation. Implement behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques where required. Support teachers and SEN staff with classroom activities and differentiated learning. Build positive and trusting relationships with students to promote confidence, wellbeing and independence. Monitor student progress, behaviour and wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.
