Our supported living service provides a safe, nurturing environment for young people aged 16 - 18 as they navigate the crucial transition into adulthood.We don''t just provide a roof over their heads, we equip them with the tangible life skills they need to thrive. What You Will Do:Prioritise Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of our young people remains paramount during this transition period.Build Independence: Mentor residents in developing everyday life skills (cooking, budgeting, managing appointments).Support Pathways: Help young people engage with our unique apprenticeship and trade skill programmes to prepare them for independent living.Be a Trusted Adult: Provide a listening ear, set positive boundaries, and act as a reliable role model.Shift Patterns Available:We offer flexible shift patterns to fit your lifestyle, though flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service:Early: 08:00 - 16:00Late: 12:00 - 20:00Waking Nights: 20:00 - 08:00What We Are Looking For:A resilient, patient, and empathetic nature with a passion for supporting young people.Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.Prior experience in health and social care, youth work, or supported living is a plus, but a great attitude and values-driven approach are most ..... full job details .....
