Job Description: Support Worker Role OverviewSupport Worker to deliver person-centred support within Supported Living services for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The role focuses on promoting independence, safety, wellbeing and positive daily living routines across days, nights and weekends. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful support in a Supported Living setting, promoting independence and choice. Support individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism to engage in daily activities, learning opportunities and community inclusion. Use break away techniques and de-escalation strategies to manage periods of distress safely and effectively. Maintain professional boundaries, dignity and confidentiality at all times. Support with personal care, medication prompts (where applicable), and daily living tasks. Encourage positive communication, routines and engagement using individualised support plans. Monitor behaviour and document observations accurately in line with service requirements. Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, communicating changes in needs promptly. Support risk management and safe working practices, reporting incidents and concerns appropriately. Shift Pattern Days Nights Weekends Essential Requirements Experience in care/support work, ideally within Learning Disabilities and/or Autism services.
