Support Worker
Job Title: Support Worker Location GL16 Area Salary 13 to 14 an hour Role Overview We are seeking Support Workers to support young males with complex needs and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will provide person-centred support to help individuals achieve positive outcomes, maintain safety, and develop independence in line with agreed care plans. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support to young males with complex needs and challenging behaviour Support delivery of individual support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour approaches Maintain a safe, respectful environment in accordance with policies and safeguarding procedures Implement behaviour support strategies, with an emphasis on de-escalation and positive engagement Promote routines, participation in activities, and skill development Encourage independence while ensuring consistent boundaries Record and update observations, incidents, and progress in line with internal processes Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Requirements Valid full UK driving licence (essential) Experience working with individuals who have complex needs and/or challenging behaviour (preferred) PBM training (preferred; candidates with PBM training will be given preference) Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries Ability to remain calm and consistent during challenging situations Excellent communication skills and a flexible, reliable approach Right to ..... full job details .....
