Job Title: Support Worker - Children and Young People Location: Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing Opportunities Pay Rate: From 15.00 per hour (depending on experience)Job OverviewWe are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work with children and young people across Milton Keynes in both regulated and unregulated settings.This is a rewarding and dynamic role supporting vulnerable children and young people with a range of needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within children''s services and be confident managing challenging behaviours while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day care and support to children and young peoplePromote emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive behaviourWork within regulated and unregulated settings in line with policies and safeguarding proceduresSupport young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and activitiesEncourage engagement in structured and recreational activitiesMaintain a safe and nurturing environment at all timesComplete accurate daily records, incident reports, and handoversWork collaboratively with colleagues and external professionalsEssential RequirementsPrevious experience working with children and young people (essential)Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protectionAbility to manage challenging behaviours in a calm and professional mannerGood communication and report-writing skillsFlexible and ..... full job details .....
