Support Worker
Role OverviewWe are seeking Support Workers to support young males with complex needs and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will provide person-centred support to help individuals achieve positive outcomes, maintain safety, and develop independence in line with agreed care plans.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support to young males with complex needs and challenging behaviourSupport delivery of individual support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour approachesMaintain a safe, respectful environment in accordance with policies and safeguarding proceduresImplement behaviour support strategies, with an emphasis on de-escalation and positive engagementPromote routines, participation in activities, and skill developmentEncourage independence while ensuring consistent boundariesRecord and update observations, incidents, and progress in line with internal processesWork effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary teamRequirementsValid full UK driving licence (essential)Experience working with individuals who have complex needs and/or challenging behaviour (preferred)PBM training (preferred; candidates with PBM training will be given preference)Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundariesAbility to remain calm and consistent during challenging situationsExcellent communication skills and a flexible, reliable approachRight to work in the UK: we do not offer sponsorshipDesirable Skills / ExperiencePBM-trained or relevant behaviour ..... full job details .....
