Support Worker - Plymouth, Complex needs service

SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED – PLYMOUTH
££ Location: Plymouth
££ Pay Rate: £15.34 per hour
££ Contract: Temporary – 3 Months
£ Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday–Friday with some weekend work
We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a Complex Needs Service supporting Adults and Families in Plymouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping vulnerable individuals promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with tenancy management and daily living skills
- Encouraging budgeting, wellbeing, and social inclusion
- Delivering person-centred support plans
- Promoting independence and positive outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and risk assessments
- Working alongside partner agencies and support services
Essential Requirements:
£ Experience supporting vulnerable people or individuals with complex needs
£ Ability to build professional relationships and maintain boundaries
£ Confident lone worker and team player
£ Good literacy and numeracy skills
£ Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity
£ Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or related field
- Previous housing support experience
- Knowledge of benefits, employment, or support pathways
