Our client believes everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling, independent life. We''re looking for compassionate, resilient and motivated Support Workers to join our Supported Living and Community Outreach services, supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and other complex needs to achieve their goals and live well.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you''ll work closely with our customers to provide person-centred, trauma-informed support that promotes independence, choice and wellbeing. You''ll help people develop life skills, maintain their tenancies, access education, employment and leisure activities, and build meaningful connections within their communities.

No two days are the same. You could be supporting someone to attend an appointment, helping with daily living tasks, administering medication, completing support plans, or encouraging an individual to achieve a personal goal that matters to them.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing tailored support based on individual needs, strengths and aspirations.
  • Working with customers to develop and review support plans and risk assessments.
  • Supporting people with daily living activities, personal care, health and wellbeing.
  • Helping individuals access work, training, education and community opportunities.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, families and partner agencies.
  • Safely administering and recording medication.
  • Maintaining accurate records using our clients systems.

About you

We''re looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for supporting people and making a positive difference.
  • Understands the needs and challenges faced by vulnerable adults.
  • Can communicate clearly, professionally and compassionately.
  • Is comfortable using basic IT systems, including emails and record-keeping.
  • Can remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
  • Understands the importance of professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Previous experience in care and support is welcomed, but your willingness to learn, your values and your commitment is just as important to helping others achieve independence and life opportunities.

Additional Information

  • This role is based within our Supported Living and Community Outreach services and may require working across different settings and client groups.
  • The role operates on a rota basis and includes weekend, bank holiday, night-time and sleep-in duties where required.
  • This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, including a barred list check.
  • Please note that we are not offering visa sponsorship

As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, our client welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and disabled candidates. As part of our LGBT + Allies Programme, we also welcome applications from members of the LGBT + community and encourage inclusivity in the workplace.
