Day Centre Support Worker Location: Islington, N5 Pay Rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 4:00pm (35 hours per week) About the Role We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate Day Centre Support Worker to join a welcoming day service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical Disabilities and Complex Needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals both within the day centre and out in the local community. You will encourage service users to develop their independence, build confidence and participate in a wide range of meaningful activities tailored to their individual needs and goals. The service promotes an outcome-focused, person-centred approach, helping individuals gain life skills, increase social inclusion and enjoy fulfilling daily experiences. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical Disabilities and Complex Needs. • Support individuals to access a variety of on-site and community-based activities. • Promote independence, confidence and life skills through meaningful engagement. • Encourage participation in arts, music, gardening, sports, sensory activities and other structured programmes. • Support service users with community outings including swimming, museums, galleries, bowling and other leisure activities. • Assist individuals when arriving and leaving the day centre, including support ..... full job details .....
